Random Snippet

Just went trough my Harddrives looking for samples and other hidden gems and found this:

Done some months ago in a few minutes, to show someone that jazzy house is effin’ easy if you have the right records to sample from. Special points to anyone who can name the original artist.

Two new Videos

Two new videos to show! Both with german language, but anyway.

First video is (finally) the video from the Grand Massife 2008, a great Open Air which we (Roquette Science) played live, as we will this year.

First Track is “Turbobell Remix” by Roquette Science.

If you are from around Koblenz (Cologne for example) I can really recommend this event, its a great, chilly party in the woods.

Next one is the promotional video for a reading by several young  authors called “Sex, Drogen, Clubbing” in munich.

This video uses “Boombox”, “Minimal Beat”, “Polish” and the “Exospect”-Soundtrack, the reading itself will also feature some music by me.

UK Trance and MCing?

Recently stumbled upon this and I am… well, tempted. The music is really pumping happy-hardcore/UK-Trance/whatever-this-is-actually-called and the MCing is also not half-bad… Pretty good actually. “I guess you heard of me, I’am your Blackout representee.” …

PS: So, whats happening obviously is that UKTrance (still unsure about that) got a MC-Movement comparable to Jungle/D&B a few years ago. Interesting. Also, on a sidenote, it’s pretty funny how they support illegal sharing of their material… “They bluetooth, put it on the world wide web and this is how Blackouts names are spread.”

Youtube-Mashups

Unfortunately I can’t embed a vid, but this is effin amazing. Go watch!

Stuff I am working on 09/09

When I reworked my homepage as blog I actually wanted to post small, ad-hoc stuff more often, somehow I did never do it, so it’s time to start it now.

Just some little sketch I spent the weekend on:
